    had to get a LOT of new parts. money has seriously dropped. not concerned yet. hoping to have a very good race and solid money. i’ll need it to stay in contention. thinking seriously about making a push for promotion this season since my driver seems to be doing very well (or at least much better than i originally thought would happen). no testing this time, but have CCP coming in after the next two races – first for handling and then for top speed. i still plan on another 3 testing sessions before the season ends.

    ok, instead of a smoke-out/quit race, i downgraded parts. i should make it through almost all of the race, but may start smoking near the end as the FW should finish around 102%. goal is to finish the race and make full money. it’s better than keeping other car parts and going negative this race. i’ll need the money next season.

    i did not expect points last race. i was surprised when my 25ct garnered me a 4th place finish. i’m not sure if that was a fluke or if this group is going to be easy to score points. i do NOT want to promote this season. so i’ll have to slowly pull back and use lower CT, harder tyre compounds, and/or add extra pitstops if that ends up being the case. i’d like to get my driver’s motivation down so lower grid finishes will be needed as i approach race 10-13. it’s the only way i can extend him again. without motivation he’s a 96. with it he’s at 112. so there’s my controlling factor.
