    had a driver mistake in Q1 of about .7s. i hate those. my concentration isn’t high enough to push to the limit, but rolled the dice and came up short. just looking for reasonable money. a 15th or better position would be nice. did some testing and then lowered some parts. still gearing up for next season.

    trusting for a mostly wet race. starting on dry tyres, but using a wet setup. running extra soft and pushing them to the limits regarding fuel when i DO have to be on them. would like to accidentally land in the top 20 for the money. needing to bide time until race 6 which is one of my driver’s favorite tracks (i have two this season). hoping to get a new TD (will find out today). could improve my race quality. squeezing parts for this race. will need to find a way to move up in money as moving down will mean relegation for sure and i’d like to avoid that. my thought process is if i can continue to improve my driver all season long, i should be able to contend next season with top finishes covering financial needs. sponsors are in the works, and i hope start moving up more now that i’ve also gone back and improved my facility levels.

    i’ll get a power boost in CCP after this race. my handling points are already starting to slip. maybe testing in the next race for that again. while the last race was low 20s, i need to start seeing upper teens. a top 20 finish would really start helping with money. trained my driver in fitness. trying to get the stamina up so i can push harder as the season winds down. i may need every bit of a push to retain.

    this is a push season for me. i’m not sure how much to push for pts. my driver did very well on Q2. only running 25ct and let’s see how he does. goal is to keep CT low, do quite a bit of testing and see how much i can train all at the same time. i’m pretty sure i can finish in the top 5. top 3? iffy, but possible. i need to watch funds along the way, too!

    opted away from a level 6 engine with the new part and went with a 5. if i can lower my driver’s OA, i could eventually get another extension. right now it’s just too high and i keep getting points. this last race i only got one point, but i was running on 0ct. doing that again and will evaluate if i need to start going with a harder compound. goal is to finish in the 5th-10th place in group by the end of the season. i do NOT want to accidentally promote. will sabotage my season later if i have to.
