    downgraded engine and bought new sidepods. car will most likely smoke, but not until near the very end. using 25 CT which will be about all my driver can do by race time. if i think he can do a bit more (if his energy goes up more than anticipated), i’ll bump it to 30 or 35 just before Qualifying closes. goal is to be in points this race. car will definitely smoke out next race, but hopeful for a full race and get full money next race. it would be a pleasant surprise.

    another round of testing. anxious to see these character points added to the car in a few races. all wet set up and hoping for an all wet race. i would really, really like a good finish. with the temperatures being so low, i may find myself mid-grid at the end. i need to get points for retention and then go into serious money-growth mode which is difficult at this level. OH and still no luck on the TD selections. i’m resigned to wait a bit and let the market settle some.
