slowly downgrading the car. will likely get to all level 5 except where the part cost is insignificant to buy a 6 – and always keeping electronics at a 7. this group has been significantly tougher this season than last. i’ll need a new driver next season, so i’ll be starting the search now and planning on who to get with hopes of having that driver to promote. funds are not growing much this season (if at all). not pleased with how this season has gone and expected more. but as mentioned, this group is more difficult this season than last.

did another session of testing (Chicanes). driver’s moti is nearly maxed. continuing to work on stamina. driver is at the max for extension in Pro and i’m counting on being able to extend him possibly twice after i get to pro next season. i still need to watch funds as they won’t be as high as i wanted to get them before promoting, but i’m hoping moving up with this driver will put me in a good position to be solidly competitive next season.

messed up on my calculations by not putting in the RACE temps. if i had, i would have gone with a harder compound … maybe mediums for dry. but i’m on softs if it stops raining. that means i’m hoping for rain the entire race. or at least very large chunks of it. 20ct, no boosts. let’s see what my driver can do in the rain. my streak of 3 wins in a row is about to come to a quick halt.
