push season. tested. pricing per lap is about the same as last season. trained my driver. when i did my Qs, i noticed the drop in driver energy was 9%. using 30 CT and all three boosts (last stint) to see what my driver can do in this group. i’d like to think i could be on the podium, but we’ll see. goal is to test 7 or 8 times this season, continue to train in fitness, and promote with my driver’s stamina somewhere around 150. my work is cut out for me.

i still keep hopeful for points, but in Q’s i can tell i’m drastically over my head still. randoms for others has become my strategy. if only i had control over that. a 4th rated car, a 6th rated driver, fastest tyres possible and i’m still going to be at least 17th on grid to start the race. i’m at a loss as to the ‘how’. driver motivation is coming up slowly, but obviously not fast enough and that is keeping me slow enough to prevent success. :-/

team tool was good except for my brakes which were off by nearly 30. Qs took 6% (4% on Q1, 2% on Q2).

the season is winding to a close and i’m hoping to hang on to 5th place within my group. there’s a chance i could drop to 6th and NO chance to accidentally promote. so i’m pushing in spite of having downgraded my wings to level 4 in order to make it through this race. the idea is to build money and dropping $7-8m (for both wings) that cannot be earned back in this race wasn’t worth a new purchase. should start next season around $45m and have my driver back for another 16 races. should do very well next season and push money up to about $75-80m if i’m wise.

testing is CHEAP!! did testing and will try to do that another 7 or 8 times this season. might should wait on most until i get the new driver around race 8 or 9. but hard to say ‘no’ while i’ve got the money to do so. hoping for points. get the burden of retention off my shoulders early. i’ve already got several drivers on my shortlist. if i can grab some points early, i may not wait until lafter r9 to replace the current driver. the sooner i get him the faster i can get to training him up.
