    i’ve realized i cannot prevent my driver from going over his OA limit for AM before his current contract expires. so no additional extension unless i promote next season. that will be the goal for s95 – push for promo! did another round of testing. will have one more after this race which will be the final one of s94. i’d like to test as many times next season, too, but not sure my finances will afford it. i’ll be pushing all season for points and that will help tremendously.

    i’d like to finish at least 12th if not in points. i need money. i’ll be watching everything from here to the end of the season. i can’t retain my driver unless i go far enough into the negative and that’s just not condusive to staying in Pro, so i’m also on the look for a new driver. better to find one before the season ends than the madhouse at the opening of the season. let’s see if this three stop strategy is really the best. the tool says it is by about 12s. that’s a lot to give away.

    Likely a finish around 22nd-25th. lowered some parts and some may still go before the race is over. using a two stop strategy which is about 4s slower than the tool indicates, but hoping the pits will be better to make up for the lost time of the harder tyre compound. still training up the driver with stamina and watching money. i know Indy is looming in a few races and i’ll likely take a bow out of that race and not bother updating parts … let them run worn. but would like to make a push in the end of the season for more points. i got two points in race one and it will likely be the season’s end before i can add to them. meanwhile i’m watching money and training my driver.

    i’d like to sneak a point here if i could. counting on many racers having smoking cars. my car will last the race apart from a random. fully dry setup, but will change with weather (0/0) if needed. i really would like a decent finish for the money. bought some new parts for this race and it was contingent on a reasonable finish (10th or better). driver is continuing to improve. hoping i can get two or three more seasons from him. next season will be a money builder. this season was a driver builder.

    i think this race will be almost all rain, but in case the rain holds off, i’m on medium tyres. higher risks in the rain and hoping for a top 15 finish. at some point i’m hoping to sneak some points. i don’t want to wait until the end of the season. would prefer to get retention points and be able to concentrate on funds.
