not counting on much in this race. honestly the last one surprised me. i hope to finish around 22nd or so in this race. my driver has seemed to be good in the rain, but we’ll find out. going with a 70% wet setup rather than a full wet. it’s not that i think we’ll have some dry — i think it will be ALL wet — but the added speed may help if i don’t have any driver’s mistakes. downgraded a few parts and all will make it through this race. still in money saving mode until i need to do something different. i’d like to do one more testing session this season, just not sure when.

mismanaged my part wear and my brakes should fail before the race end. frustrating! i had set up my wear expectations on the wrong track, bought new parts, trained the driver. when i trained the driver it negated my ability to redo my part selections. SO what i thought would be a good race and chasing some points (and money) will end up a smoking race and likely sliding out of points.
