    running tight on chassis, but should still make it through without a technical. must have seriously messed up my first Q. qualifying lap was barely faster than my practice even though i changed from Medium tyres (practice) to extra soft (qualifying). i need my driver to have a stellar performance and i also need it to rain all race long after it starts. going with a 75% wet setup. i need a top 10 finish and it looks like i’ll be starting around 24th. not good.

    trained the driver in Spa to get his energy back to 100%. i need some big races for points (i’ll need a couple to retain) and money. the last race was a bit of a letdown and unless i can get my driver’s motivation up, i may end up relegating. i’m continuing to push for driver endurance, but the rest of this season will most likely be in sports psychology for the motivation boosts.

    did a round of testing. total cost to test was $55.100 per lap. all in top speed. trained in yoga again to get the concentration up. hoping a 1-stopper will be the right strategy. motivation is still at 250. finished 10th in the first race to my great surprise.

    appear to have clinched 1st place with the other manager losing his driver and having to get one under the 110. hoping to win the cup with this race. was originally hoping to get over $100m, but after the reset i should be around $85m. next important thing will be to lower my driver’s OA at the start of the season so i can extend again (maybe two extensions). will need to see how the start of the season shakes out.

    This has been a very disappointing year. I have been outbid on 12 drivers this season. As a result, I have been stuck with emergency rookie-level drivers. In any case, I am running 84-84-84 fuel with 30-25-30 risk on 2-stop hards.

    rain race and i THINK my driver is decent in rain. haven’t had a chance to find out yet. with that hope i’d like to land a finish in points or even a point. what would really be nice is to have a race without any randoms. i’ve had one in each of the last two races and i’m not even trying to push. moderate clear track, moderate OT and DT. but still they come. randoms are random, but i’ve had my fill. money is SUPER tight. still did another round of testing (shorted on the first stint). i know my car will be smoking next race, so i’ll update parts before race 11. i also extended my driver for another 17 races … hopefully the boost in motivation will help this race.

    here’s hoping this race is kind to my driver.
