had to downgrade my wings to make it through this race. money is tight and i’m hanging on to parts where i can. i really need to do another testing, but i really can’t afford to — i’ll have to run some estimated numbers on parts to see what i can do. i have enough points for retention with another surprise podium. now it’s time to manage my finances. i’ll need a new driver soon. this one has gone as far as he can with me. i have him under contract through race 4 of season 98. i might wait all the way until the end so i can sneak some early season points in the first four races of 98.

very good finish last race considering my driver was the worst in group. had to downgrade parts in order to do another round of testing. am hoping for a finish around 20th. next race matches my car’s CCP. hopeful for points next race. i’ll also extend my driver just before race 5 for a boost in motivation.
