new season. i’ll only have this driver for a few races. i’ll be trying to find the “right one” before his contract expires and also AFTER the mad-season of bidding at the start of the season. i did a bout of testing to get the CCP up. goal will be to get points early in the season because i may not get them late with a new driver. my current driver does NOT like rain and my Q1 time attests to that. had a great Q2 run and hoping it will prevent me from starting at the back of the pack.

CCP just added. new engine and brakes needed after three races and one testing session. will do another round of testing pre-race 5. running low CT on this race and still hoping for a top 12 spot. my driver’s OA is going down slightly, but i know quality races will drive that back up as his motivation increases. my concern is doing things to damage his motivation also damages current and prospective sponsors. if i cannot bring his OA down, i’m fine finding another driver after his subsequent contract is expired.

using the updated tool. several things are still off. hoping the part wear is not one of them. for setup i only had to adjust the brakes and gear. the rest were within parameters.

also downgraded engine to assure i could make it through this race without a smoking car. running on medium tyres which could be too long, but would rather error on the safe side than risking it. running 30ct and hoping for a top 15 place. this season has been a bit disturbing to start. i do have a favorite track coming up soon and that will help start the turn on this season.

planning on about 34 laps of rain, but thinking it will be less than that. using hard tyres to go maximum distance in dry. would like a top 10 finish even though i’m using very low CT. my driver is NOT good in the rain and i’m already tired of the rain this season. OH, i did a 35% wet setup.
