i think this race could be messy and i really don’t want to have to worry about odd fuel changes, so i opted for hard tyres and hope the race is completely dry. i need a top 4 finish to put pressure on the 3rd place manager. that, of course, only helps if he doesn’t finish higher than me. 🙂

had to get a LOT of new parts. money has seriously dropped. not concerned yet. hoping to have a very good race and solid money. i’ll need it to stay in contention. thinking seriously about making a push for promotion this season since my driver seems to be doing very well (or at least much better than i originally thought would happen). no testing this time, but have CCP coming in after the next two races – first for handling and then for top speed. i still plan on another 3 testing sessions before the season ends.

training in fitness to start pushing stamina. did testing for cornering with the last stint (short) at Top Speed with hopes for a motivation boost if i get fastest test lap. the previous podium finish didn’t boost my motivation as much as i wanted, though it did some. a fastest lap in this race could help. will start out on dry tyres, but lowering the CT risk with the rain. when the rain is gone i’ll be pushing 40 CT with hopes for another point finish.

downgraded engine to get through this race. will test before next race with new parts in place. not expecting anything this race. would like to finish in the top 20. still watching my driver’s OA and needing it to stay around 135 or lower by the end of next race. then will come the mad push the rest of this year and into next. goal is to build motivation this season and capitalize on it next as i go for promotion to Master.

trained in technical and was able to get my driver’s OA down enough to extend. i’ll need to do that again after race 4. this way i’ll have my driver long enough to keep going into Master (pushing next season). just looking to be in the top 15 for this race.

i need my driver’s OA to go down one more. i’m hoping a mediocre race will be enough. i’m planning on extending and then hopefully extending again. currently, i have this driver for only the first four races, but i’d like to add two full seasons on the contract. team tool was off and had to run 8 practice laps to get the suspension correct. :-/
