![]() 1974 EXPANSION!! This is the second time in our five short seasons that we’ve expanded. The 1970 season (year two of the league) went from 8 teams to 12. This year we’re expanding to 16 teams and added five more teams to the available player list (20 of 24 1974 MLB teams are now in the pool). The existing player pool consists of players who finished their season with one of the following MLB teams: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, California, Chicago (A), Chicago (N), Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Minnesota, Montreal, New York (A), New York (N), Oakland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, St Louis, and Texas. It might be simpler just to list the four teams not in the pool! With the new teams we’ll split into two leagues with two divisions each. The North/East and the South/West. A Wild-Card team will also be added to each league. We play 54 game seasons with full stats and awards. We are the Inside Pitch experiment. Most IP gamers are solo project replayers, but we want to know what it’s like to take this great game and use it in live (virtual) face-to-face situations using Inside Pitch cards and virtual dice. I hope you stay tuned to what’s going on here. If you have interest in joining our ranks when an opening arises, send me an email! Congratulations to Shane Beecraft on his first title!
