last race with this driver. i’d like to finish with a podium. i’ve finished 1st ten of the last eleven races and 2nd in one. with 118 points coming into this race, i still don’t have a lock on first place. in theory the guy in second could catch me since i’m only 31 points ahead. i’ll be looking for a temp driver who has one or two of the final four tracks as his favorite. either way, been a great season. today i’m hoping for an all dry race (dry setup) and will be using 20ct on the track. i’d like to finish with a win or at least a podium.

could be a messy race. hoping to catch some breaks. not planning on points, but would like a finish around 15th. driver has a long way to go. did another round of fitness and did a bout of testing. the testing means my engine has a chance of breaking before the finish, but that’s ok. long term plan and i have to get my driver’s stamina UP if i want a chance for points by race 12 or 13. i really don’t want to be relying on the last couple of races to get some points. did that last season, but won’t do it here. will extend driver’s contract just before a race in which i push just for the added motivation.

i’m a bit disappointed with the last race. i knew i’d have some parts nearing 100%, but thought my car would somehow make it to the end without smoking. flirted with 8th place before settling for 11th while the car smoked. sort of a similar position for this race. engine and sidepods will finish 98% and 97% respectively. but also trying to save money and stretch the parts as far as they can. i’d love a couple of points to give me retention and then i could concentrate heavily on saving money.

25ct with only 1 boost during the last 3 laps. two stopper with a longer stint in the middle so a shorter sprint at the end.
