not counting on much in this race. honestly the last one surprised me. i hope to finish around 22nd or so in this race. my driver has seemed to be good in the rain, but we’ll find out. going with a 70% wet setup rather than a full wet. it’s not that i think we’ll have some dry — i think it will be ALL wet — but the added speed may help if i don’t have any driver’s mistakes. downgraded a few parts and all will make it through this race. still in money saving mode until i need to do something different. i’d like to do one more testing session this season, just not sure when.

could be a messy race. hoping to catch some breaks. not planning on points, but would like a finish around 15th. driver has a long way to go. did another round of fitness and did a bout of testing. the testing means my engine has a chance of breaking before the finish, but that’s ok. long term plan and i have to get my driver’s stamina UP if i want a chance for points by race 12 or 13. i really don’t want to be relying on the last couple of races to get some points. did that last season, but won’t do it here. will extend driver’s contract just before a race in which i push just for the added motivation.

did another round of testing for cornering (handling). bought a LOT of new parts and money has seriously dwindled. this is either the right move for me and my driver OR we’ll be going back to AM next season. will be pushing for motivation races 12-17 with training. hoping for a chance at low 20s here. let’s see how it goes. pretty late in the season to still be working in the 20s, but here i am — killing it.

Extra softs – three stopper and won’t change if weather changes. had to downgrade some parts and will buy a BUNCH before next race and will also do another round of testing. would love to finish around mid-20s, but starting to think that won’t happen. been a long season in the short amount of races thus far. :-/

seriously disappointing speed on the Q’s. currently 6th of 6 so far and nearly 10s off the lead. i know the one stopper is likely a completely different strategy than the leader, but it’s insane how much slower i am. it doesn’t help that my driver’s motivation keeps dropping and he’s now ranked 40th in group. i’ve got enough money to stick to the plan while i train him up, but it is frustrating still.
