    tyres will be worn. i’ve given up trying to get this guy to drive slow and potentially lowering his OA. no matter what i do, he finds a way to get ahead. i’m expecting a 4th or 5th place finish in this race. i just hope the next driver i find can race this good. goal is to promote in s102 for s103.

    i have a chance to resign this driver, but i’ve got to drop his OA. i’ll need to drop his motivation by about 75. i’m not sure i can, but i’ll give it three races. if it’s not headed in that direction, i’ll give up and push for enough for retention.

    didn’t get a win on my driver’s favorite track in the last race. this is another of his favorites. not anticipating getting the win here either. another podium is fine. could be a messy race though i would prefer an all wet race. if it ends up being mostly dry i will likely miss points. 2nd slowest tyres in the dry.

    surprised in the last race. planning on a 7th or 8th place finish and instead landed a podium (3rd). new wings and did another bout of testing. much needed testing. parts will all make it through this race. still planning on a push in races 14 & 15 (back-to-back favorite tracks). will have to balance these with points. i’m not planning on promoting. would be good for my driver, but not good money-wise.

    since i’ve given up on trying to extend this driver again, i’m going to slowly push up a bit …. using 10ct here. expecting points. medium, 1-stop is supposed to be the fastest strategy. we’ll find out. bought new parts, but downgraded the rear wing. goal is to be level 6 on most parts by end of season.

    trashing this race. downgraded parts to get me about 1/3 through before the smoking starts. will run 50ct on extra softs with a slim hope of a fastest lap. after the pit will come out on rain tyres and hope my driver’s motivation crashes before the car does.

    i like this driver well enough to want to extend him again and i can’t do that with his motivation so high. he’s been scoring points with 0ct. so if i can get it down long enough to extend his contract again, i could really start padding some money and then promote when i’m ready.

    still not pushing at all. would like to see the OA drop another three without doing anything spectacular to get it to drop. will continue with 0ct and see how it goes. will likely do a testing session before the next race or the one after that. using 0ct is letting the parts last longer than i usually see. that’s good. money is going in the right direction. i do have TWO favorite tracks back-to-back (races 14 and 15) so will expect a points jump when that happens. season-end goal is to be in 5th-8th in group for decent bonus money — without the risk of promotion.

    a race with no points, but decent money (finished 10th). i’m fine with that most of the rest of this season. i do have two races (back-to-back) that are my driver’s favorite tracks. later in the season and i’ll be pushing for points in those … goal is to finish in the top 5-7 as long as i don’t risk accidentally promoting. racing with 0 ct again. downgraded my gears and suspension. gears will likely still go near the end of the race. hope to finish in the top 20 with this race. i haven’t seen my driver’s OA drop yet. i may have to ruin a couple of races for that, but i’ll do it closer to the extension kicking in.

    opted away from a level 6 engine with the new part and went with a 5. if i can lower my driver’s OA, i could eventually get another extension. right now it’s just too high and i keep getting points. this last race i only got one point, but i was running on 0ct. doing that again and will evaluate if i need to start going with a harder compound. goal is to finish in the 5th-10th place in group by the end of the season. i do NOT want to accidentally promote. will sabotage my season later if i have to.

    will lower CT for awhile to drop out of the top four — i do NOT want to promote this season. i’ll need to find the right amount to maintain quality finishes for money without challenging for podiums. downgraded my engine to get through this race. will run a short first stint followed by a long finishing stint. i am hoping for a top 15 finish. i’ll need to do a testing stint soon. CCP are lower than i like.

    i did not expect points last race. i was surprised when my 25ct garnered me a 4th place finish. i’m not sure if that was a fluke or if this group is going to be easy to score points. i do NOT want to promote this season. so i’ll have to slowly pull back and use lower CT, harder tyre compounds, and/or add extra pitstops if that ends up being the case. i’d like to get my driver’s motivation down so lower grid finishes will be needed as i approach race 10-13. it’s the only way i can extend him again. without motivation he’s a 96. with it he’s at 112. so there’s my controlling factor.
