tested in Setup Tuning to see what value it would bring. did 100 laps. almost nothing for Test points, so we’ll see how it impacts my driver after the race. it’s possible i may never do this again. LOL

i landed a podium in the last race and am now 4th in the group. i do NOT want to promote this season. i’ll be very disappointed if i do. plan is to try and dominate next season, build more money and do some more testing before promotion. we’ll see what happens. i feel like i have to throw the rest of this season just to retain only.

more testing – this time on cornering. i’ve been doing top speed and hair pins all season, but wanted to do two more testing sessions this season: this one for cornering (just for the bump in handling) and the next one in technical to see the benefit. had to get a bunch of new parts and am starting to run short on funds, but having mapped out the rest of the season i should still finish $30m before all the bonuses. wish it were more, but will be pressing next season for promotion and have had to continue pushing money into testing and training.

the last race drained almost all of my driver’s energy. i’ll need to lower risks this race just to get to the end. i have retention points, so continuing on with my driver preparation is more important than using Spa just to get energy back and push again. utley’s driver is doing very well with 0CT. i think it has a lot to do with his driver’s TI rating. i can’t do anything about my driver’s TI right now since i’m still focused on testing (skipped this race though) and increasing stamina. i’d be happy to finish in the top 10.

had to by a plethora of new parts. testing has been very costly this season, but i have one more session i want to get in. beyond that, i probably will not test the remainder of the season. i will have completed 8 sessions. i fully plan on testing next season, too and hoping my driver will stay under the allotted 110 OA through race 4 so i can sign him to an additional extension. if that’s the case, next season will be full of testing also, and then a hard push in season 67 for promotion. lots of juggling going on.
