appear to have clinched 1st place with the other manager losing his driver and having to get one under the 110. hoping to win the cup with this race. was originally hoping to get over $100m, but after the reset i should be around $85m. next important thing will be to lower my driver’s OA at the start of the season so i can extend again (maybe two extensions). will need to see how the start of the season shakes out.

wings were off. fine tuned them to get exactly in the golden range. ran my Q1 pushing a lot (not to the max) and had a GREAT time result. Q2 was awful. we’ll see how this race goes. hoping for a top 4 finish. Driver is over the Pro level for OA. i’m counting on the season reset and maybe the first race of s96 to drop him down so i’ll be able to extend him.

did another session of testing (Chicanes). driver’s moti is nearly maxed. continuing to work on stamina. driver is at the max for extension in Pro and i’m counting on being able to extend him possibly twice after i get to pro next season. i still need to watch funds as they won’t be as high as i wanted to get them before promoting, but i’m hoping moving up with this driver will put me in a good position to be solidly competitive next season.

really debated on tyres. opted for extra softs and risk how much slower it will be for the two laps of worn tyres during each stint. decided it will still be faster than taking an extra pit. we’ll see if my decision is correct or not. finished 1st last race (unexpectedly), but would like to have a podium this race. goal is no randoms. all parts should last. i did set my only boost to finish before tyres are worn during the final stint.

surprised to find myself on the pole for this race. maybe a podium finish afterall? i was surprised to find myself there. i did replace parts and i’m hopeful for a solid finish and to move back into the top 4 in group. that should boost my driver’s motivation and help overall the rest of the season.

i’m planning on testing again before the next race. how many parts i’ll have to replace will be a big factor.

rain at the start of the race, but only 1% for the first quarter so i’m starting on dry tyres and seeing if this race strategy works. did a round of testing (cornering for Handling) before this race. Underbody may go before the races end, but all other parts should last. running 30ct on dry and 10ct in the rain. would love a podium, but points ARE needed regardless of final placement.
