new CCP came on after last race. my car now has great acceleration on track where its needed the least. LOL doesn’t matter … i wanted it. got a point in the last race and i anticipate more will follow as driver’s motivation continues to climb. getting another extension is unlikely, but you never know. goal this season is simply to start making money. if i’m doing that the motivation will go up due to quality finishes. i had the opportunity to do a full wet race with no stops here. while i’d like to do that there are two issues: 1) i didn’t want to make the car so heavy it couldn’t move as it would have needed 174L of fuel; 2) i DO think the rain will stop. where? unknown, but planning on a 1-stopper if it rains throughout.

was surprised with my last finish, but lowered my brakes a level and i think the first race finish was a bit of a fluke. anticipating something closer to 20th this race. did another round of testing (hairpins). very tired of watching my driver not be able to accelerate and am working to change that. this season is about money, so the early testing will help the latter part of the season. better finishes mean more money. will extend the driver in the next few races when i push for points.

did a round of testing (hairpins) … would love to see this car accelerate much better and i’ve almost always built the car for handling. so new endeavor at the start of the season and testing was relatively cheap. not expecting much from this race and would not be surprised to finish somewhere between 21-25. i hope i don’t finish lower than that, but you never know at the start of the season and i’m not using much CT risk (in order to make parts last while i test. some part levels are down due to the end of last season and so i’ll start pushing a bit more after i have to replace some – but not before. will extend my driver in the next few races when i start to push a little — will need the motivational bump for that race.

i’d like to sneak a point here if i could. counting on many racers having smoking cars. my car will last the race apart from a random. fully dry setup, but will change with weather (0/0) if needed. i really would like a decent finish for the money. bought some new parts for this race and it was contingent on a reasonable finish (10th or better). driver is continuing to improve. hoping i can get two or three more seasons from him. next season will be a money builder. this season was a driver builder.

not counting on much in this race. honestly the last one surprised me. i hope to finish around 22nd or so in this race. my driver has seemed to be good in the rain, but we’ll find out. going with a 70% wet setup rather than a full wet. it’s not that i think we’ll have some dry — i think it will be ALL wet — but the added speed may help if i don’t have any driver’s mistakes. downgraded a few parts and all will make it through this race. still in money saving mode until i need to do something different. i’d like to do one more testing session this season, just not sure when.

putting it all on this one though it may be early in the season. i may find myself coasting for a few races if this doesn’t bode well. i need some points here, but not sure if my driver is good enough. did what i could for motivation and energy. my car is set up for this race. all i can do is cross my fingers.

very good finish last race considering my driver was the worst in group. had to downgrade parts in order to do another round of testing. am hoping for a finish around 20th. next race matches my car’s CCP. hopeful for points next race. i’ll also extend my driver just before race 5 for a boost in motivation.

i knew the car would break last race. still finished 24th. new engine (lowed to a level 5) in order to start saving money while i train up my driver. i’d like to finish in the top 20 this race. i’m surprised driver energy is staying higher than anticipated. let’s see how this race goes.
