    not many choices here. have opted to let the car smoke the last two races in order to prevent going way deep in the hole with finances. have enough to retain, but will most likely lose my last sponsor and endanger current negotiations with this tactic, however, it’s too risky to relegate due to a start accident or random. i hate when you’re left with very little good options.

    it’s getting tricky trying to get money without going broke in the process. in a couple of races i’ll have to go deep in the hole financially (losing my TD in the process) to get new parts. will have all 7s to start the new season though. just got some CCP, but that, too, is sliding due to finances. i have the feeling i can retain next season, but will relegate in season 72 unless something starts to break and i start getting very good finishes in 71 or 72. we’ll see what happens. Master is tough.

    i’d like a good enough race to put my finances back in the black enough for training and then parts (which will then put it back negative). finances will be fine by the end of the season, but rough for the next couple of races. good finishes would be very helpful. new driver – still figuring out what he can and can’t do.

    got a new driver and will start training for next season now that i have enough retention points. i hated buying out the previous contract (it was expensive), but didn’t want the mad rush to get a new driver at the start of the season. i’ll extend him after the reset, but this will give me 23 races to make sure i can retain NEXT season (this six for prep and then 17 for points next season). parts are thin and could see some smoke near the end of this race. money is very tight and will probably be struggling for a few races, but still anticipate finishing around $20m.

    tested before this race. a couple of parts will be close after the race. pushing for points this race after the last three disasterous races. i’d like some money as i’m getting close to 0. based on budget, i should still finish the season around $30m. i’ll also start looking to replace this driver soon. his contract runs out at the end of the season, but i’d like to avoid the early season rush if possible.

    downgraded my gearbox to make it through this race. it will be close as it should finish at 100%. i’m hopeful for some luck to come my way. pushing 70 CT in hopes for a good finish and possibly points. with the last race being an engine killer, i’m hoping this one will see quite a few smoking cars.

    had to buy a new engine and am trying this “match character pts to the track characteristics”. i didn’t buy the new engine until after my driver was satisfied with the setup, but my lap was only slower by .177s (net). i’m planning on pushing it to 60 CT and hoping to land enough pts to solidify retention. i have seen a trend with this driver all last season and so far in the three qualifying this season: cruddy Q1, stellar Q2. something for me to think about when i start looking for a new driver. my current one’s stats are good, so i’m not sure where else i could look to improve except maybe motivation.

    couldn’t decide what to do here and finally opted with a 3 stopper and very high CT risk. we’ll see if that pans. i’d like to get some points and fastest lap. no telling at this point if either are mine for the taking. could have to wait until later in the season (if the funds hold out).

    messed up my Q and strategy. GRRR! driver’s mistake on Q1 pushed me down on grid. then when setting up my Q2, i was thinking of going 70 CT and set it as such, but forgot to select my TYRE CT to 70. still had it at 0. so to make it work with the fuel, i have to lower my CT to 40 and still have two laps on wobblers. this is all after testing only to find that testing is HUGELY expensive this season. it used 18% of my engine. ugh. i foresee a struggle all season long.
