still not pushing at all. would like to see the OA drop another three without doing anything spectacular to get it to drop. will continue with 0ct and see how it goes. will likely do a testing session before the next race or the one after that. using 0ct is letting the parts last longer than i usually see. that’s good. money is going in the right direction. i do have TWO favorite tracks back-to-back (races 14 and 15) so will expect a points jump when that happens. season-end goal is to be in 5th-8th in group for decent bonus money — without the risk of promotion.

a race with no points, but decent money (finished 10th). i’m fine with that most of the rest of this season. i do have two races (back-to-back) that are my driver’s favorite tracks. later in the season and i’ll be pushing for points in those … goal is to finish in the top 5-7 as long as i don’t risk accidentally promoting. racing with 0 ct again. downgraded my gears and suspension. gears will likely still go near the end of the race. hope to finish in the top 20 with this race. i haven’t seen my driver’s OA drop yet. i may have to ruin a couple of races for that, but i’ll do it closer to the extension kicking in.

opted away from a level 6 engine with the new part and went with a 5. if i can lower my driver’s OA, i could eventually get another extension. right now it’s just too high and i keep getting points. this last race i only got one point, but i was running on 0ct. doing that again and will evaluate if i need to start going with a harder compound. goal is to finish in the 5th-10th place in group by the end of the season. i do NOT want to accidentally promote. will sabotage my season later if i have to.

i did not expect points last race. i was surprised when my 25ct garnered me a 4th place finish. i’m not sure if that was a fluke or if this group is going to be easy to score points. i do NOT want to promote this season. so i’ll have to slowly pull back and use lower CT, harder tyre compounds, and/or add extra pitstops if that ends up being the case. i’d like to get my driver’s motivation down so lower grid finishes will be needed as i approach race 10-13. it’s the only way i can extend him again. without motivation he’s a 96. with it he’s at 112. so there’s my controlling factor.

not doing much this race intentionally trying to find out how good my competition is. i don’t want to promote this season and i know i can get points near the end of the season with back to back favorite tracks. only using 25ct on hard tyres and no boosts. would still like to finish in the top 12. will continue to watch funds, but should (in theory) have better finishes overall which will help since testing is extremely expensive this season. i still need to do at least three testing sessions, but wishing i could do more. just too costly this season.

i wasn’t expecting many if any points from the last race. i didn’t get to watch it either and then when i logged in and saw that i had won the race i was pleasantly surprised. this race will be tough as my car will start smoking about halfway through. i’ll need to replace the engine after this race and will make a push in the final two races for points and climbing the standings. i should be able to finish in 6th or 7th with the last two races. the bonus money will be good to have. after the season resets i’ll extend my driver.

nearly in points last race. i’d like to finish in points in most of these final races. lowered the parts on a couple and heavily invested in others as the season will start to close out. five races and i’ve budgeted for one new part for each spot during the rest of the season. i may have to downgrade near r16 or r17 just to make it to the season’s end. trying to keep the high priced parts good enough for the season’s finale. running extra softs with a short sprint at the end of the race. will boost at the start of the race and around the time all the two-pitters are going in for their first pit. hoping to get far enough ahead of them that i can not lose ground after my second pit. i need decent money. will be very disatisfied with anything worse than 15th.

the win in the last race was a complete shock. it helped that the guy who had won the first ten races in a row missed this race altogether or i might have landed a second place. the money/points assures i’ll retain. now to see if i can squeeze in some more points in the final two or three races. to do that i’ll need to bide my time and parts until the next race. downgraded three parts to get through this race (and one of them is iffy). will get new parts next race. i’d like a finish in the teens with this race, but more likely close to 20. we’ll see.

engine should give way VERY quickly and car should not finish the race. i’m intentinoally running higher risks on extra softs. i’m not anticipating finishing the race so my intention is to get the fastest lap. there likely will be others attempting to do the same thing, but its worth a shot.

rain race and i THINK my driver is decent in rain. haven’t had a chance to find out yet. with that hope i’d like to land a finish in points or even a point. what would really be nice is to have a race without any randoms. i’ve had one in each of the last two races and i’m not even trying to push. moderate clear track, moderate OT and DT. but still they come. randoms are random, but i’ve had my fill. money is SUPER tight. still did another round of testing (shorted on the first stint). i know my car will be smoking next race, so i’ll update parts before race 11. i also extended my driver for another 17 races … hopefully the boost in motivation will help this race.

here’s hoping this race is kind to my driver.
