    ugh. my car is SO slow. last season was long. this season may be longer. did a bout of testing. tyres didn’t last as long as i thought in testing (41 laps out of 50). will hope for a LOT of rain here and maybe a LOT of luck, too. but not counting on it. would like to finish in the top 30.

    my car is NOT set up well for this race (too much power and not enough handling). i’m still hopeful others will smoke out and i might find myself a finish of 27-30. we’ll see how it goes. i will need new parts after this race and it may be a good time to do a bit of testing. i’ll take a look AFTER this race and then decide. may wait one more race before testing.

    the last race was a surprise. finished 20th. i trained for motivation this race while having to downgrade a couple of parts to make it through this race. money is tight and we’re coming up on half way through the season. i need better finishes to have a chance at retention either by points or by money. i’ve gotta see some improvement soon. hoping to squeeze into the teens at the finish of this race. i’m running with a 90% dry setup on Dunno Softs with a two stop strategy. will change to wets on 0/0 with weather. 35ct dry and 25ct wet.

    This season is turning sour. Running out of money and not enough show in the race finishes to think this could get better. I may hold onto some money for the end of the season and find a driver to drop back to AM. Something has to start changing or my season is shot.
