did not test, but will before race 3. will probably test every odd race throughout the season. running the tyres to the rim again to avoid the additional pit. should be able to do that with only one or two laps with worn tyres. i’m thinking those 8 laps (two each stint) will still be faster than 17s in/out of the pits plus another 20-25s for the stop itself. i didn’t get fastest lap last race. would be nice to get it here. i could use the extra money.

push season. tested. pricing per lap is about the same as last season. trained my driver. when i did my Qs, i noticed the drop in driver energy was 9%. using 30 CT and all three boosts (last stint) to see what my driver can do in this group. i’d like to think i could be on the podium, but we’ll see. goal is to test 7 or 8 times this season, continue to train in fitness, and promote with my driver’s stamina somewhere around 150. my work is cut out for me.

more testing – this time on cornering. i’ve been doing top speed and hair pins all season, but wanted to do two more testing sessions this season: this one for cornering (just for the bump in handling) and the next one in technical to see the benefit. had to get a bunch of new parts and am starting to run short on funds, but having mapped out the rest of the season i should still finish $30m before all the bonuses. wish it were more, but will be pressing next season for promotion and have had to continue pushing money into testing and training.

the last race drained almost all of my driver’s energy. i’ll need to lower risks this race just to get to the end. i have retention points, so continuing on with my driver preparation is more important than using Spa just to get energy back and push again. utley’s driver is doing very well with 0CT. i think it has a lot to do with his driver’s TI rating. i can’t do anything about my driver’s TI right now since i’m still focused on testing (skipped this race though) and increasing stamina. i’d be happy to finish in the top 10.
