car is set up for this race (high Handling). i’ve been disappointed this season so far. my driver isn’t great in the rain, so i can only hope that my car being perfect for this race will give me some help towards points. yes, i’m still counting on them. this may be a long season and i’m already tight on finances. i’ll know by half way through if this is going to be a relegations season or fight for retention.

starting on wets and hoping for about 1/3 of the race being in the rain. using a 30% rain setup and 50ct/30ct (dry/wet). trained my driver in sports psychologist in order to boost motivation.

my car setup matches this tracks characteristics well. trying to use more CT without having my driver completely exhausted by the end of the race. i really need more points for both money and potential to retain. i poured a lot into this season and my funds have vanished with the wind. now to see if i can make it all worth it. if i can, next season should be a bit easier and a better chance to start building a little bit of funds. the next two races also match my car well. let’s see what happens.

did another round of testing. may only get in one more before the season is over. i’ve invested a LOT of money trying to get a TD and with the testing already done. it’s causing me to drop my funds by a lot without much coming back in race results. will start on extra softs and hope for about 4 or 5 laps of dry weather before it turns. not pressing this race (only 30ct), but will start pushing in the next few races as we get into high Handling races where i should be able to take advantage of the cars CCP.

grabbed a point in the last race (still won’t be enough to retain) and am concentrating on training and testing. should have enough money for pushes in race 15 and 16 to grab retention points. will see a dip of about $30m this season, but will hopefully start to see that grow again next season as i continue to train my driver. i’m surprised at how much energy he’s losing on some tracks in spite of having nearly 140 in stamina. :-/

finally have a TD and did a round of testing. i need to do about 4 or 5 more this season if i can. this track fits my CCP and i’ll do a push with 60ct to see if i can benefit from it. i’ll need points if i’m to retain – can’t skate in with 0 points. likely will need at least 3 or 4 points. this is a tough group. i’m hoping the rain holds off this race, but i’m actually expecting it late. will wait a lap if it does to change tyres.
